I always look forward to the Easter break.
Spring is truly in the air, and I adore a little time off to relax with family and friends.
I also get really excited to indulge in all the yummy food.
Even though I love getting in the kitchen and rustling up dishes, I also think you can’t beat some ready made snacks and dishes.
Below I have tried and tested some delicious treats that will see you through the Easter break.
Whittards Hot Chocolate is a rare treat. This Lemon Meringue flavour is zesty, creamy and delicious with an Easter Egg.
I warm some almond milk with a little white chocolate and serve with a little whipped cream, lemon zest and some marshmallows.
The perfect drink to relax with of an evening over the Easter.
Sainsbury’s Chocolate Hot Cross Buns:
I adore these mini hot-cross buns so much! A traditional hot-cross bun packed full of white and milk chocolate chips! I usually serve with butter, but I could imagine they would also be sensational with a little jam or Nutella.
Asda Bunny Crumpets:
My little rascal adores crumpets and the bunny faces are so adorable.
They sell out pretty quickly so I stock up and freeze them so we can enjoy them over the Easter break.
Mini Coconut & Chocolate Egg Nests:
Ahh what a treat these are.
I have featured these beauties quite heavily this week on the blog, but they are so blooming tasty!
You can find the recipe here
I also plan on indulging in a couple of glasses of Bucks Fizz, and maybe an Easter Egg or ten!
What are your favourite treats over the Easter holiday?
I would love to know.
