I love Easter, I adore any sort of break that involves family, friends and chocolate to be fair.
The past couple of years we have celebrated Easter at home, and we had so much fun.
I thought I would give a little glimpse of the activities and bits and bobs that we get up to.
On Good Friday we have an Easter party for family and friends.
We play loads of games, eat loads of food, have a good catch-up and make loads of crafty bits and bobs.

Baking:
This is the first time we have ever made these Coconut & Chocolate Mini Egg Nests and they was a lovely change to the usual Rice Krispie Cakes we make each year.
If you fancy giving them a try, you can find the full recipe here

Crafts:
Home Bargains do an amazing array of craft packs and activities, at a purse friendly price.
If you visit the larger stores they have a huge aisle dedicated to Easter.
It’s blooming marvellous.
I can also recommend supermarkets and eBay for some bits and bobs.
From personalised colouring books, crafts, gift boxes to colouring in table cloths.
The choice is so vast, and it keeps the little people entertained for hours.

Games:
With a group of little ones to entertain, and the adults of course. A wide range of games is a must.
I always plan the Easter Egg Hunt indoors as you can never depend on the weather in the UK.

I picked up this set of Easter Egg Hunt Clue Cards from eBay for £5, delivered.
All the clues are based in and around the home and I am so excited to send the kiddies off on their hunt.
When I was a nipper this was my favourite part of Easter!

Charades, board games and an egg and spoon race are always great fun too.
I picked up some garden games just incase (YOU NEVER KNOW) the sun may grace us with its presence.

There are some great offers on Groupon that included giant garden games like Connect Four and Twister.
I also picked up a set of “photo booth” style Easter props on eBay, so I can get some fun pictures of everyone.

I predict the kids are ultimately going to be running around causing havoc all hypo from the chocolate, but at least I can say I have tried!
Haha!
Whatever you may be doing this Easter I hope you have a fantastic time, and it’s filled with love, fun, chocolate and hot cross buns.
Happy Easter.
