As the days are becoming more chillier, I really struggle to maintain my water intake.
I work in a cold environment and the thought of a cold bottle of water, or juice sends shivers down my spine.
I crave and need all the warmth in my life.
The past couple of weeks I have been trialing the *Bonomelli Herbal Herbal Infusion range.
Ciao Gusto is an Italian Deli that stocks the tea, and a wide range of Italian ingredients like, pasta, cold meats, fish antipasti, cheese and dairy, desserts, snacks, wine, coffee, and tinned goods.
There are five flavours to choose from that include:
- Nettle & Dandelion Herbal Infusion
- Ginger & Turmeric Herbal Infusion
- Fennel Herbal Herbal Infusion
- Thyme & Mint Herbal Infusion
- Goji & Carcade Herbal Infusion
The teas are all vegetarian friendly, and have no hidden ingredients.
For example the Ginger and Turmeric Herbal Infusion has – Ginger Root 72%, Turmeric Rhizome 28%.
The other flavours follow suit, and only have 2 ingredients in too.
What stands out for me is the subtle, but intense pure flavours that I can taste.
The flavours are comforting and warming, the Ginger & Turmeric has a beautiful relaxing aroma, and helps to aid digestion, reduce nausea and boost your immune system. I particularly like this of an evening.
I have been gulping down the Thyme & Mint Herbal Infusion tea of a day. Mint has been used for thousands of years to speed and ease digestion, and thyme is renowned for easing stomach ache and sore throats.
If I am after something sweet, then the Fennel Herbal Infusion is my go-to. It has a light liquorice flavour, which tastes refreshing and warming.
The Goji & Carcade Herbal infusion has a tangy taste and is very fruity. Goji is packed with vitamins that helps to improve blood sugar, aid weight loss and the Carcade helps to lower cholesterol and blood pressure and has a light cranberry flavour.
The Nettle & Dandelion Herbal Infusion has a nutty and leafy taste, and for me I feel is perfect after I have eaten as the flavour helps to cleanse my palette.
I have really enjoyed exploring all the different Herbal Infusions from Bonomelli, and they have made these colder days a little more bearable.
They are currently on offer at Ocado.
If you buy 3 you get one free, and they cost £1.55 for a box and have 16 teabags in.
