Make-up Products to Create a Flawless Base.
My base make-up is always top priority!
Primer, foundation, concealer, colour correctors, setting powder.
They have my heart.
I love how using these products help my skin to appear, smooth, even, radiant and healthy.
At the moment i am loving the following products so much, and I had to share them with you all.
(At the mo, my skin is normal, a couple of hormonal blemishes around my chin, a little darkness around my eyes and fine lines around my forehead.)
The following products help to banish all these skin concerns, and most of all this combination of products last the day.
So no need for touching up.
*Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter:
I have recently done a full review of this product here.
I am finding this perfect for this time of year as when blended into the skin it appears as a light tinted base, and covers small and light imperfections.
It improves the appearance of my skins texture, and my complexion appears brighter and more luminous.
Estee Lauder Doublewear Concealer:
Hands down my all time favourite concealer. I always have 2 in my stash. One shade to cover blemishes and scarring, and one shade for my under-eye area.
I only recently started using this product on my under-eye area and i am kicking myself that i didn’t start sooner!
It translates onto the skin as a semi-matte finish. It leaves my skin looking flawless. It doesn’t budge, transfer, or crease. I wear it for around 9 hours and it appears the same at the end of the day, as it did at the beginning.
It covers darkness under my eyes, redness, scars, and leaves my skin looking healthy and radiant.
If you have never tried this concealer, i suggest you do, pronto.
Described as a moisturiser that boosts the look of dull skin.
This product is always in my stash, but i don’t use it as a primer anymore.
I use it after i have applied my foundation, or CT Flawless Filter in this case.
I squeeze a little out onto a damp beauty blender and dab over my forehead. It helps to plump out and hydrate the fine lines that I have there. I opt for this approach as a setting powder can make this area in particular appear dry and dull, which then enhances the fine lines.
This does the opposite.
It leaves the area appearing hydrated and fine lines are reduced dramatically.
So a bit of a different approach to applying the product, but one that works wonderfully!
Make-up Revolution Bake & Finish Setting Powder:
This setting powder is only £5 and a total bargain, and it lasts so long. It also very finely milled, something i did not expect given the price point.
I take around a 5p size bit, and dab under the eye with a small fluffy contour brush. I leave for 5 minutes and then brush the excess away and lightly brush over my nose and chin. (This is where my base tends to come off during the day).
It helps keeps my base in place, without dulling or leaving the area appearing cakey.
Fenty Killawatt Highlighter Duo:
This highlighter duo includes the following shades:
Lightning Dust – Soft Pearlescent Sheen
Fire Crystal – Supercharged Pearlescent Shimmer
I adore a little bit of Lightening Dust under my eye area, yup sounds strange but as it is such a soft sheen, the finish is so flattering and helps brightens the area so beautifully and naturally.
I then use a mixture of Lightning Dust & Fine Crystal and highlight the top of my cheeks, brow bone, bridge of nose and then dab some over my lips.
(I then add the Fenty Gloss Bomb gloss, WOWZERS it is sooooo perfect).
I am in my happy place at the mo, as i am loving these combinations of products so much.
Have you ever tried any of the above?
Or have i enabled you to pick any up?
