I am currently in the process of reshaping my brows (nearly 3 years now haha)
I really struggle to fill in and shape my eyebrows. I think I am awful at it, so I am always on the hunt for a product that will make the whole process easier.
When Benefit relaunched all their eyebrow products last year, I received samples of the Ready Set Brow Gel, Gimme brow, and Goof Proof Brow Pencil. I was impressed with each one, and used them all, day-in-and-day-out.
I visited the Benefit counter in Debenhams and let the lady have a look at my brows, and see what product she thought would best suit my unruly brows.
Ka Brow was the winner, and shade 5 was my colour match.
I love the packaging, it is a statement piece and looks great on my dresser.
The gel formula is at the base, you unscrew the lid, and slide the very (geniusly disguised) brush out of the top.
The shade is a good colour match for me, and with 6 shades to choose from, I am sure there will be a shade to suit everyone.
The gel formula is lightweight, and easy to apply.
Not much product is needed at all, as the gel is very pigmented.
The brush is surprisingly good, it is small so this aspect helps you to fill in gaps easily, and create smaller, natural strokes through the eyebrow. I personally use my Mac 208 brush, just because I love it long time.
The formula doesn’t budge, it is waterproof.
I don’t find that any of the product falls out, the very reason I ditched Benefit Brow Zings (the powder would tend to be all under my eyes by the end of the day).
I have had this product 2 weeks now and I am enjoying using it, the only worry I have is as it is a gel formula it may dry out – but only time will tell.
For me it is one of the better eyebrow products that I have tried, and I would repurchase.
Priced at £18.50, it isn’t exactly a bargain, but I feel it is worthy of this price tag – ( if it doesn’t dry out).
I will be sure to report back if it does.
What is your favourite eyebrow product at the mo?
