I really love Urban Decay all the products i have tried from them, i have adored.
Their Naked Concealer and Naked Basic’s Palette are two products i can’t be without.
So when i was after a new mascara, i decided to give their Troublemaker mascara a whirl.
It costs £19.50 and claims to add volume, length and separate the lashes. In turn creating thicker, longer and fanned out lashes.
As you can see the packaging is pretty unique. The tube feels heavy and sturdy, and the holographic design is so much fun, and very quirky.
The brush combs through the lashes and the precession brush apparently grabs the lashes to pull the product through, for an instant volumizing effect.
I had such high hopes, but unfortunately I am not wowed.
I find that the brush and product fan my lashes out really well as you can see below, but this is were the positives end.
The product doesn’t seem to add a great amount of length, and instead of separating my lashes it clumps them together.
I also don’t love the brush as the bristles are very hard, it feels very rough when i brush through the lashes. The brush is really big, and the formula is quite runny so things can get a little messy.
It also stings my eyes a little when applying it, and removing it is a total nightmare. I have to use a heavy duty cleanser, and scrub the area.
Everyones eyelashes are different, mine are really short and straight, so maybe it would work a little better on longer and more curled eyelashes?
But for me, this a product i wish i had never bought.
I have read mixed reviews when it comes to this mascara. Some people feel exactly like i do, but some adore it.
So as always, this is just me giving my ten pence worth, and my honest opinion.
Have you tried this mascara?
I would love to know, hit me up in the comments.
