Vita Liberata is my current favourite fake tan brand. It isn’t the cheapest brand on the market but the quality of their products, I feel are worth the price-tag. I use their Marula Dry Oil Tan with SPF (review here) every time i go away on a beach holiday. Their Rapid Self-Tanning Tinted Mousse is my favourite to use when I am going way for a long weekend, or I have a couple of days on the trott when I know my pins are gonna be out.
But now onto to the star of the show, their Body Blur, ah well I think this is my favourite fake-tan find of 2017!
The Body Blur claims:
“An instant skin finish that covers imperfections, smoothes skin appearance, gives natural-looking tan that washes off and hydrates for an incredible HD-ready finish. Tinted BB properties reflect light for a photo-ready skin finish on body. Can also be used on the face, alone or under foundation as the ultimate make-up prep”.
I have pale skin that is reddish borderline blue at times, so I always have to tan my body.
Because well, otherwise, I would basically look like I had just escaped from the morgue.
It is easy to apply, and feels soft and velvety on the skin. It blends into the skin quickly not a streak in sight, and leaves a beautiful glowy tan – that is achieved instantly.
As you can see from the picture, the colour is beautiful. There is not a hint of orange, just a natural, tanned, golden tint.
It leaves a gorgeous pearlescent sheen to the skin, which results in skin appearing healthy, nourished and hydrated. It washes off with ease, but at the same time there is not need to be afraid if splashes of water do come into contact with this tan.
It doesn’t come off like other instant tan’s do. I think this is as the majority of instant tans I have tried can be so drying. Body Blur has Aloe Vera and Shea Butter in it making the skin super soft and supple, a quick rub with a little moisturiser and the tan blends back into the skin. But with this comes a negative. It does transfer onto clothes, I wouldn’t advise wearing white or any light colours when slapping this on as it will 100% transfer, unfortunately.
This tan is especially handy to use for any last minute trips out, or when the sunshine pops by to say hello unexpectedly. Plus there is no terrible biscuit smell before or after application, always a winner hey?
If you are after a no-fuss, instant tan, that is easy to apply – then I can highly recommend this product.
I also have my eyes on their 10 minute tan, after readings Chelsea’s review over on her blog, Through Chelsea’s Eyes.
The shade featured in this post is medium, and there is three shades in the range priced at £25- £29.
