I don’t get excited by hair products. I think it’s because I have never tried anything at home that has blown me away. Hair oils can weigh my hair down. No matter how much hairspray I spray on – my curls will still drop out. I lather on all the nourishing conditioner from Redken to L’oreal, and I still manage to look like Worzel Gummidge.
So when I was invited along to GHD at John Lewis Liverpool One to get my hair sorted, i jumped at at the opportunity. Natalie styled my hair taking inspiration from Khloe Kardashian.
She curled my hair, but left the ends straight.
Looks pretty amaze right?
To finish the look Natalie applied the GHD Smooth & Finish Serum, and I could not believe the difference it made to my hair. It left it appearing shiny, smooth and the corse dry hair that sticks up around my roots, (the bane of my life) it was finally all tamed. Shockingly my hair appeared sleek.
Something I haven’t seen for many years.
So I left kinda sceptical, thinking it was a mixture of a professional stylist doing my hair, and all the different GHD products Natalie used.
When I got home I had a mooch in the goodie bag that Natalie gave me, and low and behold there was a bottle of the serum in it (fate?) – and I haven’t looked back.
This little bottle is the best hair product I have ever tried, I have it in my handbag at all times.
My hair always starts looking a little wild as the day progresses. (Always).
I now just add a little of this to my palms, (around a 10p size blob) and rub my hands together, and then simply run my fingers through my hair. My hair then appears sleek, shiny and smooth.
Instantly. I kid you not.
The results appear in seconds. Bye, bye spit ends, fly-aways and hello smooth sleek hair.
It feels like a serum that is slightly oily and wet, but it doesn’t weigh hair down, nor does it make it look greasy or flat. Only a little is needed, and priced at around £14 dependant what offers Feel Unique or GHD have on, I feel this price is a total bargain.
I have used it every day for 3 weeks, and the bottle is still going strong.
I have used it on straight hair, curled hair and even when my hair was in tight chop-stick curls, it always works like a dream.
Do you have dry corse hair?
Do you suffer with any sort of frizz?
Do you have split ends, fly-aways, or hair that can look a little lack lustre?
Then I seriously recommend this product.
It does everything it says on the tin, and then some.
I really feel this product would suit every hair type. I would just increase or reduce the amount used, dependant on hair type and length.
